The Health Museum hosts a Teddy Bear Check-up: Saturday, December 2

Bring your teddy bear or other stuffed “friend” to The Health Museum to learn more about hygiene, nutrition, dental health and vision health. This popular annual event, led by volunteers from Texas Children’s Hospital, the YMCA of Greater Houston, VSP volunteers and Museum staff, provides a fun, educational adventure for children with their favorite stuffed “friends” using health science stations to earn a certificate of health. H-E-B will provide stuffed teddy bears to the first 400 children who arrive! Fitness Instructor and creator of Mom & Tot Fitness® will be here to energize parents and their children to exercise together. (713) 521-1515; www.thehealthmuseum.org
