Thanks to everyone who donated to Recipe for Success Foundation through our spring series of events--We're Cooking Now! a gala in small bites. Take a look at the fun we had at www.recipe4success.org/events.htm

The Recipe for Success Foundation's board and staff have been hard at work all summer setting the stage in our five pilot schools to begin integrating nutrition education vertically throughout the curriculum--all a part of our efforts to curb childhood obesity. Our pilot elementary schools are: Briscoe, Gross, N.Q. Henderson, MacGregor & Rodriguez.

In just a few weeks Houston's most fabulous chefs will begin teaching 23 classes of 4th graders how to cook. Wouldn't you like to help? Or maybe you would rather dig in to build teaching gardens at our pilot schools or even work on Hope Farm. To see some of the fine chefs involved, go to
http://www.recipe4succss.org/chefs.htm

Please take a few minutes to complete this volunteer form and send it back to us. We will match you up with a fun and fufilling job in this endeavor to combat childhood obesity by changing the way our children eat.

For more information about our programs, go to www.recipe4success.org

I hope to see you soon!
